In the world of the Nexus there exists two entities, or if you wish to address them as the god and goddess of the Nexus.
Alina is the goddess of light, she is the one who is good and kind. And tries to help those who suffer from her brothers influence.
And then there is Chaos. The one who corrupts and tries to influence people to join his side, to weaken his sister.
For many years the two have been bitter against each other. Chronos the one who keeps the balance of power in the Nexus stuck in the middle between their bickering.
Chaos is trying to weaken his sister Alina and control all the realms for himself. Spreading corruption and planting his seeds of doubt and insecurity wherever he can. Alina of course fights back against him, doing her best to help keep her realms safe. As long as each side has people who fight for them and are loyal, there will always be conflict and war.
Beyond the Nexus exists four different realms. The Eternal Winter, where it's always night and freezing cold. The forever setting sun in a Water World. The Realm of Rain where vampires rule, and The Realm of Fire, a volcanic realm. The realm of Water and Fire are aligned to Alina, and the realm of Winter and Rain are aligned to Chaos. The main gateway that is at the beginning of the Nexus, often it will open and allow outsiders in from other worlds beyond the Nexus. If you are an outsider, prepare yourself for the unknown and be prepared to either be confronted by Chaos or Alina.
